RIWI in the Globe & Mail: Excluding small voices in polls carries big risks of data bias

RIWI Head of Global Research, Danielle Goldfarb explains what we risk if “quiet voices” are excluded from polls: these risks extend “far beyond predicting referendums or elections, to a wide range of critical business and economic issues” she notes, in a July 10th opinion piece in the Globe & Mail. Citing various learnings from RIWI’s continuous data collection in the UK of over 6,000 Britons from March-June 2019, the importance of including small voices is described by the impact they have in determining important outcomes.
