Surveys
RIWI’s anonymous opt-in surveys enable the rapid capture and assessment of large samples of sentiment data, breaking outside of the traditional techniques to engage previously “quiet” voices. Our surveys cannot be blocked by state surveillance or Internet control, and are not susceptible to ad blocking technologies. Surveys can be adjusted while in field based on early results.
Message Tests
Respondents are randomly assigned to a treatment or control group to determine the impact of different concepts, videos, ads or phrases. All groups will see identical initial questions, followed by treatment group(s) receiving a developed message. After the treatment, all respondents will be asked questions to determine the resonance and engagement of the message or to measure behavioral changes (assessed post-treatment) between groups.
Sensitive Questions
RIWI can reach repressive, digitally sensitive environments, where users face heavy censorship, all while keeping the respondent anonymous. Anonymity greatly lessens an otherwise potentially significant social desirability bias, and allows respondents to answer both honestly and safely, especially in cases where their opinions may run counter to that of the local governing regime.
For Government Agencies and Partners:
- Public Opinion Surveys – Continuously tracking on-the-ground sentiment to measure changing support for local violent and criminal gangs
- Rapid-Response Surveys – Assessing widespread effects in response to events that could potentially incite fear or panic
- Multi-Wave Studies – Tracking behavior and attitudes over an extended period of time
- Campaign Message Testing – Measuring the positive or negative impact of an educational campaign
