RIWI in Borderlex: How the internet has completely altered global trade

On June 13th, European trade policy news site Borderlex published an opinion piece by RIWI Head of Global Research, Danielle Goldfarb. The piece explains how the nature of global trade has changed because of the internet. Trade is no longer just about products being shipped across borders yet the measures we count on to make decisions don’t necessarily reflect these changes. Citing various RIWI research projects, Goldfarb emphasizes the need to measure trade today accurately, or risk misreading the future.
