From June 16th to August 9th 2022 Atlas Network commissioned RIWI to launch a survey of 1000 people in Australia to gather citizen sentiment on capitalism, socialism, and economic mobility. Respondents were asked about their opinions of capitalism and socialism, income inequality, ease of starting businesses, trade agreements, the role of business in society, the justice system, and the government’s response to the COVID pandemic.
In addition to collecting basic demographic data on age and gender, Atlas Network was also able to analyze the data by political party, income, education levels, employment status and geographic location.
