Availability of Basic Services in Ukraine

As part of the RIWI Migration Monitor, RIWI has been tracking events in Ukraine since February 2022. We have asked people whether they have had any challenges accessing food, clean water, sanitation, money, healthcare, education, electricity, heating, communications and transportation since April 2022. Since the start of the latest Russian missile and drone assault on October 10, 2022, we have seen a steep increase in the number of people having problems accessing electricity, and an even greater increase in certain locations like Kyiv Oblast where 80% of respondents are affected.
